Registration and Activation questions
You can register via the RECASHER app or by using the RECASHER webpage (Sign Up). For in-app registration, please download the RECASHER app from the App Store or from Google Play. Sign-up is easy by using your existing social media profile (Facebook, Google+ or Twitter). Alternatively, you may register with your email. Upon successful registration we will send a confirmation email to your registered email address. By clicking on the link there, your RECASHER account will be activated.
Why do I need to register my cards?
Your bank card registration is necessary for the cashback service. Cashback can be provided only for payments made with cards you have registered.
Why do you need my ZIP code?
We need your ZIP code so we can find and send you relevant offers and promotions in your vicinity. Should your geo-location data not be available, we use the ZIP code provided to present you with great deals that are close by.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password under "Settings", either after a web log-in or in the RECASHER app. When changing your password, we require you to type in your new password twice, for confirmation. Your password must be at least 6 characters long and contain upper- and lower-case letters, as well as numbers and special characters.
How do I change my email?
You can change your email address under "Settings", either after a web log-in or in the RECASHER app. When changing your email address, we require you to type in your new email twice, for confirmation.
What is "Grab It"?
The “Grab It” option allows you to claim special offers which are not automatically applied by RECASHER to your purchase. When visiting a merchant, be sure to select “Grab It” in order to claim these offers.
How do I use My Coupons?
Conditional offers listed under “My Coupons” are the ones you have favorited and added to your “My Coupons” list. Should a purchase meet the associated criteria, the coupon is automatically redeemed at the time of the transaction. For example, a restaurant may offer a 25% birthday cashback coupon. If you visit the restaurant on your birthday, your 25% birthday coupon is automatically redeemed when you pay with your registered card.
How can I use my earned cashback?
You can initiate withdrawal of your confirmed cashback via the app or the webpage. Your money will be transferred either to your bank account or to any of your registered bank cards.
What is Confirmed/In Progress/Removed?
Depending on the progress of your initial card payment transaction, Confirmed, In Progress and Removed are the various statuses of the related cashback.
Cashback is “Confirmed” when, after your purchase, the card payment transaction has been “cleared” and the merchant has received the money for the goods/services you bought. At this point, you can withdraw your confirmed cashback.
“In Progress" is an interim status; whereby after the initial payment, clearing has not yet taken place and the merchant has not yet received the money for the goods/services sold.
Cashback is “Removed", if after the initial purchase/payment, the payment transaction is cancelled.
